The Helpful Nerd provides remote technical support for Windows and Linux computers. You stay in control during the session and can disconnect remote access at any time.

If the stated issue cannot be fixed remotely, you do not pay. Hardware failures, pre-existing issues, data loss from existing problems, and work outside the agreed scope are not covered by this guarantee.

Payment is due after a successful session. By booking, you confirm that you are authorized to allow remote access to the device and that important data should be backed up before support begins.

Privacy Policy

The Helpful Nerd collects the information needed to schedule and complete your support session, including your name, email address, phone number, appointment details, and a description of the issue.

Remote support sessions may be recorded by default for quality assurance and dispute resolution. You can request no recording before the session starts. Recordings are deleted after 90 days unless you ask to keep a copy.
